Well I've spent a happy hour flicking through Spoonflower's quirky designs and dreamt up many of my own ideas for printing. I had to share this site because if you have an idea for a room and want to make it truly individual then start scribbling down concepts now and get in touch - there's no minimum order which makes it feasible compared to the many others out there. Andy messaged me about his work after seeing the Schoph Schophield interview on ILS and we talked about his collective Subism - which is amazing - and he also showed me his Rootz work. Andy is definitely going to feature on here as an Inspired Soul Interview in the upcoming weeks but I had to blog about his 'Print for a Pound' offer right now so that you didn't miss out on this special deal.

I'm addicted to DesignTAXI - they're one of those sites that should win awards for their content which is well displayed and completely current and relevant to the design world. Their image of the day also gives the designer at hand a chance to profile their portfolio as well so if you think you're good enough why don't you submit something to them? Here's a few that caught my eye - a chilled out visual start to the week after the Bank Holiday madness...

Grafik Mag have launched their free app for the iPhone. Whoop! This is great news as it means that you get all of the daily bulletins and design news straight to your phone when you're on the go.
Of course they only do it in the true Grafik style that we've come to know and love so everything looks exceptionally good and it's all totally relevant and not wasting your time unlike several other apps that sound great but don't deliver... If you're in the design/creativity world you need to be downloading this.
If you're lucky enough to cruise around with your iPad 2 as well, be aware that you can now download the actual magazine (for a small price) and read it online. I'm trying to keep print alive at the moment so have resisted this one but I'm sure I'll succumb eventually...

Franklin & Marshall is the brainchild of both Andrea Pensiero and Giuseppe Albarelli, who were always fans of North American culture and wanted to bring the true American college style to Italy.
Their logo/symbol is inspired by an old 1970s sweatshirt from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that Giuseppe and Andrea found in a second-hand market in London and their choice of brand name was particularly significant; Franklin & Marshall being the name of the one of the oldest established colleges in the US, founded in Pennsylvania in 1787.

I LOVE letterpress prints - they are so striking and because my whole work revolves around words I often need a kick of inspiration and these messages do a top notch job of that!
Anthony has his work displayed in homes, offices and exhibitions all over the world and has put his wit and use of colour to good use in adverts and collaborations with fellow artists and musicians.
